Each household in the Shellharbour electorate is getting a chance to vote on the 28 applications lodged by not-for-profit community groups under this year’s Community Building Partnerships (CBP) program, Member for Shellharbour Anna Watson said today.
Shellharbour electorate will receive $300,000 in CBP funding.
“The CBP has grown in popularity since it was first established under the former State Labor Government in 2010.
“This year CBP applications in my electorate are worth over $1.2 million in total.
“Every household in my electorate will have a chance to have their say on their preferred projects.
“In the next week each household will receive information on each project and have an opportunity to vote for their three top preferred projects, or they can vote on every project in order of preference.
“I’m looking forward to each household in my electorate expressing a view on which projects should share in the $300,000 total funding available under the CBP in the Shellharbour electorate”, she said.
Ms Watson said voting would close on Thursday, 1 October 2015.
