The Member for Shellharbour, Anna Watson, tonight thanked the Shellharbour electorate community for their increased support in her re-election to the State Parliament.
“I am humbled and grateful for the faith and support that the people of my electorate have shown tonight in the Labor Party and me, as their local Member of Parliament.
“I am pleased that so many related to my positive campaign over the last month.
“It’s a great privilege to represent and serve your local community in the State Parliament.
“I look forward to working closely with the people of my electorate to ensure they get a fair go over the next four years”, she said.
Ms Watson’s election results so far show she has been re-elected on a strong primary vote of between 53% and 54%.
The Liberal Party has so far suffered a swing of nearly seven percent on the primary vote.
