COMMUNITY BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS 2016

Not-for-profit community groups in the Shellharbour electorate are being asked to get their project applications ready for the opening of the Community Building Partnerships (CBP) program on Monday, 13 June 2016.

The Shellharbour electorate has been allocated $300,000 for eligible projects.

Project applications may include:

  • Construction of new capital works;
  • Refurbishment, repairs and maintenance to existing capital facilities;
  • Purchase of equipment with a minimum individual asset value of $2500 and a life expectancy of 5 or more years.

Projects applications must also have a minimum funding request of $2500.

The CPB for 2016 may also include applications from local Parents and Citizens Associations of local public schools if they are incorporated and local hospital auxiliaries.

Last year, Shellharbour CPB considered over $1.2 million in local community applications.
