Community groups in the Shellharbour electorate have only until Friday, 22 July 2016 to lodge their applications for funding under the 2016 Community Building Partnership (CBP) program.

The Shellharbour electorate has been allocated $300,000 for eligible projects.

Project applications may include:

  • Construction of new capital works;
  • Refurbishment, repairs and maintenance to existing capital facilities;
  • Purchase of equipment with a minimum individual asset value of $2500 and a life expectancy of 5 or more years.

Projects applications must also have a minimum funding request of $2500.

The CPB for 2016 may also include applications from local Parents and Citizens Associations of local public schools if they are incorporated and local hospital auxiliaries.

Last year, in the Shellharbour electorate I considered over $1.2 million in local community applications.

I encourage all local community groups in my electorate to apply for a share of the $300,000 available under the 2016 Community Building Partnership program.

I’ve had the pleasure of recommending funding worth over $1 million for local community groups since I was first elected.

This is a fantastic funding program which makes a real difference to local community groups.

CBP application close on Friday, 22 July 2016 at 5pm sharp.
